Starting with the living room, Maia focused on bringing in natural light. She chose lighter walls and gold-toned floors to bounce in warmth. The homeowner’s love for blue and green offers a soothing colour scheme throughout, while multiple built-ins provide stylish and easily accessible storage space. Maia removed the dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room to open up the space and allow natural light to enter. Fluid pieces like armless chairs and a round table keep the circulation flowing. A window seat with storage below replaces a large window in the kitchen for increased privacy.
